Dual Display Problem

I have recently installed a secondary monitor to my computer, which is an LCD display connected through VGA from my GeForce 9800GT graphics card with a DVI to VGA converter. This secondary monitor poses no problem, but I had to buy a DVI to HDMI cable for my old LG 1080p 1920x1080 plasma monitor.

First there was the resolution problem. Something with screen edge cutoff. I can't remember the term correctly at the moment, but I fixed it with my TV options.

Now, the problems are:

1. It shows everything in my LG monitor in 16-bit color, but not in my secondary monitor.
2. When I change the color in my NVIDIA Control Panel or my Windows 7 Display Settings it reverts my Windows 7 Ultimate Aero theme into Windows 7 Basic theme... Not only that, but when I change it, it still stays on 16-bit.

Please help! The primary monitor is 50 inch btw. Thanks in advance.

It's called overscan. There was a post recently here regarding a similar issue with an Nvidia card. Search around, it's become quite a talked about problem as of recently :P

lol, yeah, overscan, that was the term. Well I sort of fixed that, by setting my TV aspect ratio to "Just Scan", but after I had rearranged my dual display virtual positions, it screwed up again. Now 16:9 or "Just Scan" aspect ratios still leave out some stuff behind the edges. I looked over some of the other threads, but will the NVIDIA fix work for 9800GT? I thought that it was only for 8800!

Then there is still the question of 16-bit color...

Please help!
