Dual display setup?

Hi, I currently have a 20inch Samsung monitor on my hp computer, and I was wondering about setting up 2 monitors on my computer. I have the original 17inch lcd from this computer just sitting in the box. I was wondering how much a two display setup impacts computer performance? Sometimes when I'm playing a game I like to look something up on the internet at the same time ,and I have to min. the game and then get on the internet. What I have read about a dual display setup is that I can have my game on one screen and the internet on the other, is that correct? My current setup is win xp sp2, Amd +3800x2, 2gb ram, BFG 8800GT 512mb, 700w ozc psu. Thanks in advance for your help. Also, My Samsung lcd is dvi but the hp one is vga, but i have a vga to dvi connector ,so I think it will work fine.

Probably will work fine.
just right click on your desktop go properties - settings (tab) and there you can set your monitors up the way you want.

Anyone know if it slows your computer down? My current setup is win xp sp2, Amd +3800x2, 2gb ram, BFG 8800GT 512mb, 700w ozc psu.

Well blah I guess I'm not going to do it then I didn't know if it would or not ,or if it wouldn't be really noticable. I don't need it to slow down any lol.

You're computer will be fine with 2 monitors, gaming will be slower, but gaming on 2 monitors is horrible as it is.
