Dual Monitor Fullscreen?

i was wondering if it was possible to run a game or movie in full screen with both monitors.

ive got an ati radon xpress 1150. its on a laptop (dell 1501 running vista) using the laptops monitor and an old crt i found laying around my house.

Is it capable of running dual monitors? Most laptops cannot. And if it can, only certain games can run on both screens, and movies usually glitch if you try to drag it across screens.
 
ya, i have it running dual screens, but i cant get anything to span across both screens. right now, i have the desktop spread across both screens, this on one screen and atv vs. mx unleashed playing on the other, but i want to be able to play it on both screens, kinda like a virtual wide screen monitor
