Dual Monitor Setup

I just got a dual monitor, and I have a couple questions. When I play a full screen game, it won't let me access the 2nd monitor, my mouse acts like I have only 1 monitor, it stops at the edge of the screen. I would really like to be able to go to the other monitor to be able to change music and such, is there anyway to set it up to be able to do that? And more importantly, how do I set it so that it has different wallpaper on each monitor?

What video card do you have? Some cards will shut down the other monitor and make you play you game on just one.

Nvidia 7600GT, and the other monitor is still on, i have iTunes on the other monitor, and I can see the music playing, i just can't control anything on it.

What game are you playing sometimes games will lock you out into just the game where you have to hit like escape or alt enter to get to the other monitor...

My old graphics card did that to me at one point but I never worked out why. I am interested to see some answers too

I wasnt trying to play games with both monitors. I just noticed that it did that when I was playing a game
