Dual Monitors Help!

I have added a PCI video card to my desktop computer. I am wanting to extend my desktop to a 2ed monitor using the PCI video card that i added to my computer. Well I can not get it to work, Can some one help me with this? My computer's model number is a Compaq Desktop SR1900NX... I have 1 on board and one off board video card. Post thoughts and comments. Thanks

What PCI card did you use? It may be possible to simply run both monitors on the PCI card if it has dualhead.
