Hey I have my Dual Monitors one 19" and one 24" working as 2 separate monitors but the same desktop etc.

How can I make both those monitors (1 & 2) to be (1 & 1) so instead of my moniters being 1920x1200 & 1280x1024 how can I join them to be ONE monitor, I know you can do It but I cant seem to find any good explinations on the net so hopefully someone here has done it or knows how. Pretty much I want to be able to play games on 2 monitors but have the game split between 2 screens

eg: http://www.wow.com/2007/05/11/dual-heading-and-wow-a-how-to-guide/

I dont want a hub that makes your 2 monitors 1, I just want the software because its cheeper and possible from what Ive read and seen.

Thanks a ton if you can help :)

Details about my PC are below if you need to know

I can't picture what you are trying to attempt.

When you say 1:1 - Do you want both monitors to display the exact same thing on each screen.

If thats' the case - it's pretty simple

Go into control panel, Appearances & Personalizaiton - Display - Change Display Settings.

Under Multiple Displays - select " Duplicate these Displays " - and both monitors will display the exact same thing - mouse pointer / screen / etc.

If you are trying to do " something else " with your monitors - please elaborate a bit more - so I can understand what you are trying to do. I need a better word picture - so I can see in my head - what you are trying to do.

Thanks

you would do this with dual monitor wallpaper. its a landscape with half on one screen and the other half on the other. the wallpaper needs to support this with good results. on the otherhand single would just extend the same thing on the 2nd. there is some excellent reference here at the site here. use the search function and query dual monitor or dual monitor wallpaper.

if you want your game to run on both screens in the full resolution of both the screens added together you need an ati card that supports eyefinity. I'm sure that there are other ways of doing it but I don't have any idea how it's done.
