Dual Monitors?

is it possible to set up the 19" with the main interface (windows tooll bars and stuff) but open different applications on the other monitor?

basically what i did, was when i wanted a window in the other monitor i would minimize the window, move it into the other monitor and then maximize it. also when you set up your monitors you will be able to set up which monitor will have the toolbars and whatnot.

and u said this this doesnt look good?

edit- 19" widescreen and 15" ???

It is kind of because dual screen is best when the monitors are the same and they line up perfectly to make it look like one big monitor.

Your setup won't look as nice, but it will be very nice for work that can utilize dual monitors.

Well, I am going to be looking mainly @ my 19" widescreen monitor, however, i will have other files opened in another on the other monitor?
BTW, my main question, which i could barely word it is that, when i do a dual monitor setup, will it split the original window in half, one half on the 19" and one half on the 15"

You can setup dual screen with any types of monitors, even a TV. But it's not that big of a deal if they are different. I mean I recall seeing tall monitors connected to old computers so more of a document could be displayed at once.

I guess it really depends on what you wish to do with the two monitors.
