dual processor

did anyone hear about the new dual processor that is out? it's like the third upgrade in processors. at first they had a regular processor that ran one line through it. then there was the double processor that ran two lines through the same route. and now they have a dual processor that runs two lines through two seperate routes.

if anyone is unfamiliar with the importance of this, i'll explain further. a processor helps you with your computer's performance ie: how fast it goes, lagging, etc. with two lines going through two different routes, that decreases the percentages of the two lines gettin mixed up with one another and causing problems. this dual processor is a great upgrade and i suggest everyone who wants a fast performing computer go check it out.

any ?'s or comments plz add to the thread.

The new stuff is quad-core cpu's, and the dual-core cpus are (as 34erd said) old news... such as the AMD X2 and Pentium D series.

yeh im not good with the terms sorry. and i think geoff5093 was right when he said dual core processor. i didnt kno it was old news. i just saw it on tv for the first time the other day during this QVC thing on computers and they were talkin about it.
