Dual Screen

Hi.

i have just plugged in my 2nd screen but it doesn't turn on as if its registering with the PC...

Any ideas?
 
O ok. What you are going to want to do is:
1. Right click on your desktop and select "Properties"
2. Select the "Settings" tab.
3. Right click on the second monitor displayed and select "Attached".
4. Then adjust the resolution as needed.
5. Finally, select "Apply" and it should work :)
 
how have you connected it which GPU do you have if its nvidia .go to the nvidia control panel and set up dual displays

just tried. it wasn't attched before b ut is now....still nothing
 
ok im using like a converter thing on end of my screen wire so its fits PC for my main screen but 2nd i just plugged straight in, if i take out main screen plug and put 2nd on converter it works.
 
So when you did that, did it say the other monitor was attached? Did you make sure to hit apply? A quick test to see if your computer is running in dual screen mode, try and move your mouse off each edge of the screen. Does it stop when it gets to the very top/bottom/sides or does it keep going and you cant see it?
 
Ok then you haven't enabled the second screen, which is your problem. Go through the steps I told you before and make sure you do them as I said.
