Dual screen

Alright,
Im getting my new pc in a month or less and I was wondering how I could have 2 screens where one would be just my wallpaper, but I could drag and drop stuff onto it. Wouldnt It require me getting a vga adapter that produces 2 vgas off of one, hook up two monitors to my 7600 gt, and then what would I need to do??

Well, most video cards have two VGA outputs. You could then just hook two monitors up to the two VGA outputs. Or if it has one, you could buy another video card. The VGA splitter only replicates the signal so you would have two monitors displaying the same thing. Most likely your 7600GT has two VGA outputs.

I think you mean most have two DVI outputs. On some video cards, you can only run one VGA out of the card with the adapter and the other has to be DVI. Or you can run two DVIs.
