I'm considering getting a second screen (the same exact screen as the one I have).
I would only really want to do this if I could effectively have the following: I would want my windows desktop to display exactly as it is at the moment, all on the same screen. I would want programs to open and fill that screen. Any error messages etc I would want to appear in the middle of that one screen.
Effectively I would just want the second screen to be like an extra desktop that I could drag a window onto, most of the time I would probably have it off, so I'd want the computer to be completely useable with just theone screen on (but both plugged in).
I would've thought this was how it would work anyway, but my mate's recently got a 2nd screen and I hate how it works.
any information would be great
