Duals / Gamming

I have a radeon x850xt.. and I run dual LCD monitors. When I play games (CS source) I run the game on one, and have the other one with winamp, aim, vent.. stuff liek that. Do you think I would get a NOTICABLE increase in anything if I dissabled the second LCD when I play?
 
I usally do nothing more than clone, but I feel quite certain there'd be some increase in performance if you disabled the 2nd display. I mean, it has that much more stuff to do when both are going.
 
I also have a dual-display setup, I just let the other monitor on but I don't run anything else, doesn't seem to slow down. Did you know that if you put your screen in span mode you can sctrech game across both screens. (Bad with crosshair in the midle in shooter games though)
 
I used to have dual monitors (got rid of them a couple days ago), and i didn't notice any slow down when i had them both running when i was playing CS:S
