Duel monitor. watching a movie and playing a game?

With duel monitor is there a way that you can watch a movie on 1 and play a game on the other .. I can't seem to do it everytime i try the movie screws up but the sound keeps going.
 
The problem is that most game change your resolution when the open... not sure what to do about that, unless you want to stick to web-based flash games.
 
Even if there is a way, why would you want to do that? Its impossible to do two things at once anyway. Just watch your movie or play your game man. :D:D:D
 
If you play games in windowed mode it will work fine, mostly I have this setup for WOW on those waits for groups to start up.
