Duo processor or Quad processor

Hi I was just looking to buy a new computer and I wanted to know if I just get intel core 2 duo processor E6850 (2x 3.00 GHz/4 mb L2 cache/ 1333 FSB)
or the Intel core 2 Quad processor Q6600 (4x 2.4 GHz/ 8mb L2 cache/ 1066 FSB).
