What does this error message mean. I get it when windows boots.

So it would seem, but i have not set up a network. Is it someone else on my LAN? Is it an error or problem, or just a message.

So you don't have any other computers on the network? Sometimes getting another IP address from the router will correct this. You wouldn't happen to be running Windows 98 would you? I really haven't had a problem like that(unless there was a duplicate name out there) since I ran 98...
