Dvd Backup Question..Help Needed

Hey guys.

I am not usually interested in doing stuff like this, but my teacher asked me to bring in a dvd to school 2morrow, and yes i own that dvd, but it's scratched, so seen as how my whole god dahm class is depending on me, i downloaded the movie from limewire, now all i'm wondering is, is there any way for me to put that movie on a dvd,

Despite you owning a copy of the movie it's still illegal to download through a torrent.
