Dvd Burner = dvd reader?

meh idk, Thanks alot for the help! i really do appreciate it, but im sure its dead, ive already tried to install it in 3 diff comps and wont work. Il just buy a new one

are you putting in an actual dvd or a burned one? also try putting in a blank cd and a normal cd see if it detects any of those

i have tried everything, wont read nothing :\ sucks cuz it was expensive, and i didnt even get to use it as much.
