DVD burners play DVD's right?

I am currently looking into building a computer (my first) and I am unsure what DVD drive burner to use. Do DVD burners also work as DVD drives (like to watch a movie of play a game)?

it says Read speed, so that means yes it can burn and read dvds right?

Yes Dvd Burners can play dvd too and thats a good one there the software with it isnt great thou
