Ok I got DVD Fab Platinum 4, ConvertxtoDVD, Nero 7. I popped in one of my computers. Copied it with DVD Fab 4. It copied sucessfully and said to finish put in a blank DVD. I put one in, but it kept saying something about the device being undetectable. It did create a file folder. With an Audio_TS and Video_TS. I just copied that folder over to ConvertX, but it said something about file not found or something. I dragged the folder into Nero and it seems to be burning atm. I was just wondering what the problem was? If you need specific info just ask...thanks!

Yea, that is completely true. The rules state something about that in the rules. so segun to the rules, we can't help u cuz of the rules. sorry.

sucks balls for u huh?

Thats against the rules too.

Alright im just joking:

Anyways, it just must be a bad copy. it would be better if u told us how the NERO thing went out.

Anyways, i was just playing with you dude, you just don't know me yet, my bad.

On topic:

You are trying to make COPIES of ur DVD right?

Let me recommend a program that has worked for me in the past:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/Magic-DVD-Copier.shtml

magic dvd ripper. worked like a charm back in the day (like 3 months ago). download the trial and see if it works for you. and btw, is this the first time its happened???

Yea went through the same DVDs 3 times...sooo figured I better do Something! Ok so download that copy my dvd and then drag the files to convertxtoDVD?

yea, or u can just burn a straight copy off the link i gave you. I never used it to burn dvds, but it has the feature im sure.

what brand of disks are you using. maybe it's a bad batch or your cd drive needs cleaning or you're burning too fast.

you don't need to use convertx as it's already in dvd format.

Convertxtodvd actually turns an avi into dvd format! You could on convertxtodvd go to the "Action" menu and click "burn project already converted" and find your folder with the files in it and it should let you burn that. Or you could try just burning them with windows explorer!

I use dvd fab express and it works perfect! I put my dvd in one drive and a blank in my burner and click copy and wait for it to finish...thats all there is to it.

play the dvd, use camtasia studio or hypercam to get a full video of that dvd playing (will be a huge file, in excess of 100gigs most likely), and record the audio in 1 minute .wav files with windows built in recording software. Then, open windows movie maker. Insert the 100+gb file, and insert all the 100+ 1 minute file. You may need 3+ quad layer blu-ray's to hold it, and a brand new computer to run it. That is what I would do.

(yes 100+ gigs as the files are soo big for hypercam,,)

Can't you just tell them not to scratch them or punish them if they do? I have never in my life scratched a cd/dvd. Just hold the edges...
