dvd drive won't install game.

I'v got a samsung tsst corp cd/dvdw ts-h552u drive and i've tried to install a game on my main computer (in my sig) and the setup will start but it will come up saying such and such file is corrupt. and i must close. i've tried it on my laptop and it works fine. i've tried a few other games i have and some work others don't. anything i can do to fix this.

You might have a bad burner or laser. it may just be not be able to read the data correctly.

Hehe, or if you want to be cheap, share your laptop's drive over the network and just access the disk that way But I do agree, it's probably an issue with your drive. Fairly common for them to act up. New ones are cheap enough...

You could always try to update the firmware for your drive, but that can ruin it if you're not careful.
