I bought Zombieland off a buddy for about half price as he got one from Christmas and so I put it in to watch with my nephew and I notice on my 32'' LCD about 10 inches of black bar (5 top and bottom).
Most DVDs I own do this but only 1-2 inches and honestly it annoys the piss out of me that my TV isn't being full screened.
TV 1360x768 - 32'' LCD
DVD Player Pioneer VXX2866
Not exactly top dollar but both were free (as I found and fixed both) so a perfect setup for my cheap self and they work for what I do with them.
I know I could make rips of the DVD on my PC and stream to my TV with a player that "stretches" but I like to watch movies on my 50 inch projection TV with friends/family when they are over so how can I fix it to "fill" the screen?
No options on the DVD player...I use a RCA connectors to my 32'' and the 50'' inch TV.
I would imagine its resolution issue and I would have to video edit to the accurate specs to get this to happen?
