dvd playback -brightness

Watching std dvd's through Windows Media Player and the picture is too dark. How can I adjust the picture? Using Windows 7, a CRT Viewesonic A90f+ monitor and a Radeon HD4650 graphics card by HIS. Thanks for any help.
 
have you tried adjusting the brightness on your monitor or in your graphics card settings if its is only wmp playing dvds that dark i believe you can change the brightness in wmp under enhancements section
