DVD Plays Shaky

Hi,
I have a Dell Inspiron e1705 laptop with a DVD burner (TSST Corp DVD+RW TS-L632D). When viewing any DVD, the sound is perfect, but the picture is herky jerky. Any ideas how to fix? Device manager says it's O.K., but picture is shaky. Thanks,
