DVD-R vs. DVD+R?

DVD-R was the first DVD recording format released that was compatible with standalone DVD Players

DVD+R is a non-rewritable format and it is compatible with about 89% of all DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs

-R's have slightly larger capacity

+R's support book-type setting, tho, which creates a disc that is indistinguishable from a pressed disc once it's finalized, raising their compatability above even -R's compatability.
