Well i am building a multimedia computer and i was wondering what CPU would be the best for ripping and converting DVD's. Should i go with a dual or quad core? and any recommendations?
well for ripping it doesnt really matter, as for converting them, many codecs available will take advantage of as many CPUs as you have so if you will be doing a lot of this then you should grab a quad core cpu.
