but the answer is yes, you will be able to do cd to dvd. But will not be able to use the 52x (unless it's a DVD-ROM/CDRW Combo) to read DVDs.
most dvd burners cant properly handle cds (read the CD/DVD 101)i am getting a dvd burner and a 52x if i have heard correctly you cannot even read dvds wit a cd burner so will i still be able two make backup cd"s without having to download it into my computer first then to a dvd
Although its not possible without some "alterations" some people want to have all their things on one DVD than a few CDs???? why would you want to back up a cd to a dvd? why not cd to a cd-r?
Of course if yer dealing with copy protection that may be a bit difficult to translate from the CD version to the DVD versionbut the answer is yes, you will be able to do cd to dvd. But will not be able to use the 52x (unless it's a DVD-ROM/CDRW Combo) to read DVDs.
