DVD RW or Blue ray disc

go for the DVD RW, it will take a whiile for blue writters to hit the market, and longer for them (of HD Disk) to become dominant

DVD Burners are very cheap these days, if you want one, i'd buy it now. It will probably still be months or years before BluRay disks/burners become a cost effective option.

I agree, deffinetly go with DVD burners, since there very cheap at only $30. While Blu-Ray readers are around the $700 range, and have lots of problems.

Personally I would steer clear of both BluRay and HDDVD for the time being. Otherwise you could find yourself with a very expensive Betamax clone. DVD-RW's are cheap, so get one of those. :)
