DVD Shrink Use Question

greetings all,

i have a file (not a disc) with approx 6.3gb's of data in it, all from the same source.

Now, we all know what dvd shrink does and with that in mind, can i use DVD Shrink to shrink down those files to fit on a "standard" dvd disc and if so, HOW?.....thanks for any reply.

DVD Shrink works for shirking DVD video called VOB files not data or random video files. Depending on what you are trying to compress winzip or winrar may be of help if the data isn't already compressed.

..ok, i have gotten by this hurdle and now have another one...i have all the files that dvd shrink "shrunk" and they now number about 58, consisting of multiple video ts,
video ts ifo,
vts ifo,
video ts vob,
vts vob.

.....i think these files may be in a pal format instead of ntsc format. the disc (after so many tries i have forgotten) did play on my computer but MUST play on a home stand-alone dvd player.....what do i have to do to get these burned to a dvd to be playable?..i have used dvd shrink, convert x to dvd, and mpeg 4 maker and wind up with the same "stuff" - no playable....i am unsure if i missed something in the set-up of each program i have used..ANY help would be appreciated? (would programs like region free or any dvd be of assistance in this?)...
