DVD Shrink

I just purchased a new PC With Vista on it and no Nero StartSmart burning metarial on it. I use DVD Shrink and went through the process of burning a movie and when it go done going through DVD Shrink nothing happened. Normally if I had Nero the DVD tray would pop open and I could put a blank DVD in to burn it on. The DVD burning metarial I have no is Windows DVD Maker and not sure if that is what I use. Could someone help me?
 
I am having problems with the software I am using and found dvd decypter. Will this put the full dvd that I am recording off of on to a blank dvd?
