DVI adapter

Is there a an adapter that can connect your conventional monitor jack to a DVI??

Like on the Alienware m5550, there is a DVI in put, but I don’t have that on my Monitor or my TV (but i do have S-video).

You didn't get one with your computer? Most video cards come with one per DVI connection.

sadly not..... i mean i didnt get the m5550 yet im planing on buying it for X-mass, but if u said it comes with it i guess it will.

I have no clue if the computer comes with one or not, but all my video cards had converters for each DVI port...

well i can just hope that i will come with it, if not then ill just have to buy one..
