DVI-D or Composite

My Dell 2007WFP monitor has a DVI-D connector and compsite. I know on the TV the composite display is better than all the other (analog and s-video). Is that the same with the computer, or is the DVI-D better?

DVI-D is a pure digital signal, depends on your set up.
