DX10 for XP

are they going to release a DX10 for XP anytime soon?

no, but u can download a hack to run it on XP

Microsoft have already said that DX 10 will be exculsively for Vista. But for some games and only games that are made by Microsoft restricts it to Vista anyway, you can get a crack to make it work in XP, like Halo 3. Most of the other DX10 games out there have backward support for DX9.

Alky project is down, the above link is to an alpha build of their project, and it's not even close to optimal. But If you check their blog they've put up the source code for any takers, could be that some group will pick up the torch an run with it...
