E-mail freeze

Hi, i do hope there is someone out there that can help with my problem.
We have two e-mail addresses and one of them works fine but the other one says, "downloading 1 of 6 messages but will only download 2 and then stops.
when i refresh it does the same again and again etc,. ie, trys to download the same messages over and over again.

We are on outlook express 6
Please can anyone help.

p.s. can you make any replies idiot proof.

As a near pensioner, i feel a right twit sometimes, with all this technology.

If you have roadrunner, you can go to rr's homepage and there will be a link so that you can access your email through their site rather than downloading to your pc
