E-mail sharing problem in home network

I have a strange problem. Let's start with the explanation:
- I have a home network with 2 PCs (both use Win XP Pro),
- Firstly, I used sharing (enabled), but while trying to solve the problem, now it's disabled, and also the home network is erased (each PC is working separately, but trough same router)
- On PC1, there is only one e-mail account on Outlook2007 (Acc1)
- On PC2, there are four e-mail accounts on Outlook2007 (Acc2-Acc4).

The problem is:

- When I try to send an e-mail from PC1 to PC2, the message is returning to PC1 if PC2 is turned-off. If it's turned-on, we both get the same message.
- When someone from outside (other e-mail message, not from those 2 PCs I have) is sending the message to PC1, and it's maybe turned-off, the message will be sent to PC2 if it's turned-on. (even if there is no that e-mail account installed on that PC).

Router is Zyxel

It's all messed up. Where to start from?

Make sure the area network name is the same. They may not have the same area name.

Like my home network is called Home. So every computer in the house is Under Home.

I don't think I get it. If I currently don't have a home network (I've run network wizard again and choose "this computer is connected to internet and have no network yet" option), how to put all PCs under the same network?

I'm pretty new here and don't know much. Maybe to run network configuration wizard again and to choose the same settings?

OK, I have some news. I have disconnected (physically, pulled the cable) PC1 (with just 1 mail account (Acc1).
When I then tried to send a message from PC2 to the mail adress of Acc1, it was delivered to the sender's PC (PC2), even if there is not Acc1 details set-up on that comp.

Something strange is going on... WFM?

It will be under the computer propertiers.
Start > Right-click on My Computer > Properties and it will be under one of the tabs.

i can give you a picture or more info tonight, i'm currently at school so i can't at the moment.

OK, thanks. Just send a pic, or an explanation. I'll be gratefull.

I don't know much about that. Maybe it's under "computer under the" - 1-domain, 2-workgroup. Now it's "workgroup"...

Ok, just send what you can

Thank you!:)

Yes that what6 it is under. Workgroup

I'll send pics tonight when i get home from school.

OK, I've tried something and have more info. I tried to send a message from PC1 to PC2, and immediately after I click "send", I turned the Outlook2007 off. At the same time, user on PC2 clicks send/receive.

That way, everything works great. He received my message to his comp. If I don't shutdown the Outlook2007, the message is just sent to me.

The message I receive has my adress in "from", and his as "to", even if I don't have his e-mail adress account configured on my PC...

I've made the same workgroup names for both computers, as Vk3fcll suggests, but that made no changes at all... Maybe something else...?

What kind of email accounts are you using? It sounds like you are running into the multiple computer POP issue. POP email doesnt work very well with multiple devices - either get seperate email accounts or look into IMAP / Exchange.

I use T-Com (Croatia) e-mail accounts, .com and gmail accounts, all configured on my PCs.

It is POP3 (I think)... I have to use those adresses, there is no alternative. But can I configure them different way?

Yeah if you are using the same e-mail account for a POP account on two different computers than that would be a problem.
