E2160 or E4400 or E???

Alright, so at first, I wanted the best of the best, and was going to order the E8400, but I've thought it over, and I really don't need the best, and I would be more than satisfied with a lower end processor, which would especially suit my budget.

It seems that after OCing, the lower end processors would be the best bang for my buck. I already have a Zalman 9700 and MX-2 compound ready, so my question is, which processor should I be buying? I've heard good things about the E2140 and E2160, but also about the E4400. (or 4500)

So my question is which would be the better bang for the buck? I will be using it for mainly gaming, and I know that there are some new budget processors coming out in April or something, but I just simply cannot wait anymore!

Would the doubled cache be significant in performance? The E2160 is priced at around $75, whereas the E4400 OEM is priced around $95. Any other suggestions?

by the way, I will be using a GA-P35-DS3L mobo if that makes some kind of difference?

ok i would say get the E4400 an u have the zalman 9700 ive read reviews on that cooler people have Q6600 @ 3.8 ideling at 28C an 45 on full load so that will help get good ram with heat spreaders Apacer and Adata i have found the best for OC surprisely.

the E2160 would be great an someone on hear has it OCed to 3.06GHZ or something close to that i went an had a look there is hardly no difference between the E2160 an the E4400 less than 3% stock so the E2160 would be your best bet
the ram is great a good ram helps a lot when OCing
good luck keep us updated when you OC it

i seen no difference accept the $69.99 one is getting sold by IPSG an the $78.99 one is getting sold by intel other than that i do not see a difference
