hey,

ive got an E6300 on a gigabyte p965 ds3. I have an arctic cooling 7 pro cpu cooler and 1 gig of xm2 pc 6400 corsair ram.

I just cranked the fsb to 400mhz and changed the fsb to ram ratio to 2.

in the bios temperature thing it runs at about 43 or 44 c which is about 3 celcius more.

Is there a way I can monitor cpu temparture in windows so I can see how hot it gets under strain.

thx in advance

The sad thing is that the E6300s overclock so well that you can just raise the FSB without knowing a bit about overclocking. :)

The best program I use for temperature monitoring is Speedfan

PC Wizard from the CPUID guys works ok. The Gigabyte Easy Tune utility is ok as well but slow as all hell to load and is all flashy looking. You could try Everest but for me it reported different temperatures than the BIOS.
