e6600 or q6600

I am building a computer next month and I am having a hard time deciding between a intel e6600 and an q6600.
The q6600 is having a price drop which would bring it into my budget.
All i use the computer for is WoW and basic web surfing

Just for Wow and basic web? Then an e6600 would serve you fine. Supposedly the quad cores are going to drop price sometime near in the future, and as such i wouldn't recommend them at this point

Yeah the q6600 is dropping to like 230 thats why I was thinking about getting it

I didn't see the "next month" part. From what people are saying the Quad will drop by the 22nd of next month, so by all means get it.

get an e6850 if you can as what your talking about would no use the four cores

I'd rather say around 160ish mostly because the E6550 will be at 165$ and the E6850 is around 184$

I dont think the e6600 is dropping but if it is I will get it and use the lil extra cash to upgrade my video card. If it does not drop Ill get the quad core. sound good?
