EA sports online issues with IE7 beta 2?

Im having a problem playing TW06 and Live06 online. I keep getting an error page saying i either dont have a connection or the page is down. however i do know that EA downloader conflicts with ie7. could this be the same problem with playing EA sports games online? BF2 works fine. I dont understand. is there anthing i can do to fix this other than reverting to ie6.

IE 7.0 is only a beta version currently available. It has been run here since it first became available with some noticable changes in functionality as well as appearance. You will probably have to reconfigure the default settings in IE 7 due to a higher default security level and try clearing all offline content and history to relog onto the game sites.
