Hey all,
I am planning to build a PC desktop primarily for gaming in the near future. It needs to be pretty high performance, be able to play games like Battlefield 2 on mainly high settings, and also play near future games like Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Battlefield 2142 on as high of settings as possible. I also do a fair bit of multitasking, but it takes a back seat to playing games. My main problem is that while I know a fair bit of computer specs and parts I know nothing about compatability between parts, and chipsets. So if you guys can help me come up with some starting ideas for a build (with a budget of lets say about $2500-3000 Canadian Dollars), I would appreciate the ideas greatly. I will be running Windows Vista on this in the future when it's done, if that affects anything.
