I'm looking for a way to easily transfer files (files that are compatible with both PC and Mac) from the Mac to a PC...is there any way to easily do this? Can you just insert a USB or something, and move files over, it can't be that easy can it?

Or do i need a program. If i need to buy a program, i'd preferrably like to buy one that does m4a-->mp3 within the program if possible. Thanks for any help.

that mac platform is just ugly and unfortunatly mac os doesnt like windows very much. trying syncing your ipod (im sure youve got one) on both

Mac's use a totally different file system, so if you did just copy the files
from your Mac, your Windows pc wouldn't recognize them anyway.

What type of files are you wanting to transfer? MP3's? Movies? Those
are pretty versatile, but if the documents or data is Mac specific, you'll
have issues.

If you have both computers on a newtwork there should be no problem sharing files between the two computers. Mac's will play mp3's and read most file types a PC will read.
