So I parted out several items of my gaming rig before the 45nm came out.

I sold a X2 4400+ and my sigs motherboard on ebay oh and a 9750 phenom I was given.

Both had a buyout and at the last hour of the bid the buyout was taken off....these morons have officially bid 10 USD over my X2 4400+ buying it for 56 USD and my motherboard is currently @ 75 USD which is 15 over my buyout and approaching the price of a new version of it.

The phenom sold for 180 USD + shipping WITHOUT A HEAT SINK!!!!!! The buyout was 150 and no one bought it. You can buy a 9850be with HS for for 169.00 free shipping on Newegg.

Seriously I am glad they are idiots but there was 20+ people watching the auction on each and none of them bought it out till they could no more and whacked that price way over.

My question how in just under 20 years have we become so brain dead? Is inbreeding happening at a faster rate then we are told?

Anyone else had a auction with this kind of idiot calling to it? If so let us hear it.

Speaking of idiots I just painted the idiot sign on my shirt.

Thought I was posting in off-topic....could a mod please move it? ^-^

eBay does have lots of incompetent people who are buying/selling. Sometimes it works out for the good such as in your case, but then often times it doesn't work out and you end up getting ripped off, scammed, or the buyer says it arrived damaged or didn't arrive at all and wants a refund.

That happened to me once. I sold a Belkin 4-port USB hub for $18 shipped! I originally bought it for like $5 and they even left me positive feedback. I love it when that happens.

Yeah reason I always put a no return/refund/humor on all my auctions. In bold red lettering at the top and bottom of my auction.

I also make shipping protection optional so they can't say it never got there.

They do I can say "well the auction said this and you didn't pay extra for protection its your fault"

I learned my lesson on Ebay a long time ago ^-^
