eBay...

pentium d???

ive never used one of those chips, i dont think there up to much

what do you want to do with it and what is your price range?

I don't know about other people, but I wouldn't buy it.

However, there is a member on this forum that has an ebay store and he sells some customs. He actually knows what he's doing and talking about, unlike others.

Take your link for example: he says it's 6.8 ghz. It's not. Just because there are 2 cores running 3.4 ghz doesn't mean your speed doubles.

I've never heard of SuperTalent, so who knows how good the memory is.

The motherboard is about $40 on NewEgg, so I don't think it's that great. Plus it doesn't seem too "Upgrade Friendly" for possible future upgrades.

Long story short: do it yourself because you know what parts your actually paying for.

Ditto. As soon as the page loaded, that caught my eye. Any self-respecting builder would list true specs, not some hopped up piss in a jar. There are some great deals on ebay though with stuff like that, however that just doesn't happen to be one of them. I'd take my time over a week or two browsing through the pages - it will be relatively easy noticing the real deals with the wanna-be's after a bit.
