Effect with CD Burning

My brother burn CD so many time every day.
Any negative effect to computer by burning about 20 times burning CD?
And my hardisk is broken by restarting while burning.
Help me!:(:(
 
sometime and often enough i burn a hundred at a time. Its never been a problem. I have 4 burners in my computer and burn mostly slide shows for family and friends. I have at least 500 cd's and dvd's. I do think in the future i will just buy a duplicator.

Also what do ya mean the hard drive is broke?
