Ejay problems

Can anyone please help me with ejay

I got 5 packages and all have the same problem.
the program installs and plays demos and my mixes I created when all was ok
Now I get a problem with the Sample files, if I dbl click on one it doesn't play it only plays when i place it on one of the tracks and then press play.

Please its killing me I love this program and I cant use one of them.
 
I have exactly the same problem! Does somebody know how to fix it?

P.S: It seems that the problem is present only in Windows 7, since I didn't have this problem on Windows XP.
