I installed Elder Scrolls III Morrowind again to check out what it's like with the Morrowind Graphics Extender. It works well, except for the shaders. I have searched everywhere, the official documentation and forums, and haven't found a similar case thus far. I've followed the guides written by the developers and still I'm having trouble getting the shaders working properly. I've ticked all the necessary boxes and the shaders work in the preview modes and in the game's menus.
1. When adding any shader whatsoever, the shader only works as long as the crosshair isn't on an NPC or any other functional "device" like a crate or barrel. For example when looking at a landscape shader(s) work just fine but I then turn towards an NPC, who is close enough that I can interact with him/her, the shaders abruptly stop working until I move the crosshair away from the character.
2. When I add the "Blur (Radial)" shader the screen is really bright (almost completely white) with some items being slightly yellow. The shader does seem to compile and work just fine in the menus.
Does anybody have any experience with MGE and could offer help? I'd really appreciate it.
