Electric tape to bind wires?

Can I use electrical tape to tie the cables together on my PSU to cut down on surface area in my case? Or could this somehow be bad?
 
You could superglue them to the top of the case if you really wanted to, it doesnt matter, cable ties or zip ties are more common cos they are sometimes coloured to suit the theme of the PC, but anything can be used.

*EDIT* - also, remeber that plastic or any type of rubber is an insulator, it wont conduct electricity even if you shoved it in a power station. So you can put cable tiwes and electrical tape anywhere in your system.
 
Small plastic electrical ties are great. The excess can be snipped off. They can be found in various colors also. Super glue,crazy glue eats rubbber, I'd avoid using it.
 
Man, I would like to get some colored zip ties and use those for some cable management both in and out of my case. That would help airflow, appearance, and organization. Thanks for the idea, I didnt really think of it...
