I have a budget of under £1200 but i dont need to pay VAT, so basically any computer under £1200 Ex Vat. I you think there are any better suited PC's out there i should look at please post them in.

Basically i just want to know how good the computer is becuase im very new to this, will i be able to play demanding games on high settings?

Please give me your opinions on this!

I don't think you can utilize the 4GB of ram without running in 64 bit, or at least that is what I was told.

Yeh with that make sure you get the 64 bit version of windows vista and also you may need to get a better PSU with a higher wattage - more amps on the 12 v rails and a brand name

thats an AWESOME pc:D if u have the cash buy it!! u will be able to play any game on high settings.. how much is 999 pounds in australian dollars??

in the link u just gave u didnt have the 8800GTX ticked the price just went up:(

Sorry to bump this up so soon after the last post but im going to be buying a computer very soon and i need to know if this is thge right one, PLEASE tell me if it's any good, im completely new to this! Im using for game playing, can it handle demanding games on high settings please post!

Thanks guys, more oppinions would be great. It cost £1150.21 ex VAT. Also is it worth upgrading from a 4x1GB RAM to a 2x2GB RAM, would that make much of a difference and why would it?

Can i upgrade the PSU by buying a better case, if so which one because im not going to buy the third option for £180 more, however if i need to i can buy the second option.

Do not buy a case with PSU and use the PSU because more often than not they wont run the system at all

You can get a suitable one for like £80 on ebuyer and throw away the psu it comes with if no good

Is it absoloutely neccesary for me to buy a PSU because i really dont want the hassle of finding out how to uninstall the old PSU and install the new one. And £80 seems quite a high price, also what does a PSU actually do lol?

800MHZ RAM instead of 667....jsut cuz it's faster and everything else in the build is already lightning
