Hey y'all

i was saw an article for back-to-school technologies for computer and i check it out and i saw eMachine for like $800 wit 4.5/5 rating and i was wondering if that computer or eMachines the company itself have a good rep of building good computer???

I dont know about the newer eMachines but the ones from the past aren't worth it, but maybe they've stepped up their game and started making better PC, but I myself still wouldn't trust them, it also depends on what you need the computer for, just for the most basic it'll probably be safe.
 
As of Q4-2002, eMachines has definitely gotten their act together (and learned that refurbished doesnt sell). If I was buying OEMs they're prolly the company I'd go after.
