Email program to replace Outlook Express

New Member
Trying to help a Senior Citizen who was able to use Outlook Express for emails. She purchased a new laptop with Vista and it won't support OE.

I need an email program that is as much like OE as possible. Thunderbird and Incredimail seem similar from information I gathered from a google search, but I have never used either one of these programs.

Anyone used them? Or have another substitute similar to OE?

Install Thunderbird, I have used it for about a year now and I love it. Very easy to use and does not take a bunch of resources to use. Also install firebird. It's 100% better than IE or Netscrape.
 
The email program in Vista is called Windows Mail. Quite similar to OE but improved (or so MS says). You make no mention of it. Did you try it?
 
terii, yes she tried it with less than enthusatic results. It may grow on her before I can get back to offer the Thunderbird program. It's not my choice, what ever makes her happy.
