dont understand whats going on. My mothers internet was running fine the first time I hook it up through the router. She wanted to move all her computer stuff into another room. So once everything was hook up the way I had it before now we get no DSL. I have a Linksys router heres the set-up Embarq DSL box phone line is connected the ethernet plug from the DSL box goes into the ethernet port on router then the desktop computer is plugged into port 1 on the router also tried other ports but same result. The DSL box power light comes on and the ethernet light comes on but thats it, the other 2 do not come on DSL light and activity light. When i check connection on desktop the 1394 port is reading the router but still no internet. I checked the phone line by plugging in a phone and I get a dial tone. Dont understan was working last night with samw set-up

The 1394 which is the firewire port is not used for internet. Most likely you have a wiring issue on that box in the room you moved it to. Do you have 2 lines for phone in the house and that box is for the second line which doesn't have dsl? That would be my guess since you can get a dial tone out of it.
